It was an absolute pleasure to perform as the wedding DJ at the breathtaking Royle Forest Weddings recently — an incredible woodland venue that creates the perfect atmosphere for a modern festival-style wedding.
Set on the border of Derbyshire and Staffordshire, Royle Forest is one of those venues that immediately feels special from the moment guests arrive. Surrounded by woodland, festoon lighting and outdoor social spaces, the whole setting had an amazing relaxed energy before the evening party had even begun.
One of the standout features of the evening was the stunning glass dancefloor inside the teepee, creating an unforgettable setting for the first dance and the packed dancefloor that followed later in the night.
As the evening moved into full party mode, the soundtrack focused on funky electronic 80s music, uplifting disco, Ibiza-inspired house music and feel-good dancefloor favourites — perfectly matching the stylish festival wedding atmosphere.
