Wedding DJ at Nuthurst Grange in Warwickshire

I always enjoy performing as the wedding DJ at Nuthurst Grange and this wedding was no exception. It’s a beautiful venue with a fantastic dancefloor space that creates the perfect setting for both the first dance and the party afterwards.

I was also pleased to see the talented photographer Leon Heynes capturing the day. As you can see from the photos, Leon always does an amazing job of catching those genuine moments when people least expect it — exactly why he’s featured as one of my recommended suppliers.

The overall setup at Nuthurst Grange works brilliantly for weddings. The bar area naturally flows towards the DJ booth and dancefloor, helping create a great atmosphere throughout the evening and encouraging guests onto the dancefloor all night long.

The bride and groom were huge fans of 80s and 90s music — which always makes for an incredible party soundtrack. There’s such a rich mix of upbeat pop, disco and dance music from those decades, and alongside the big favourites I always enjoy dropping in a few unexpected classics that people haven’t heard in years.

From the first dance through to the final track of the evening, the dancefloor stayed busy with guests fully embracing the party atmosphere and throwing shapes right until the end of the night.

Another fantastic wedding party for DJ Funkomatic, and thankfully the bride and groom were delighted with how the evening went — they even invited me to the afterparty (although sadly I had an early start the following morning!).
