Warwickshire Marquee Wedding DJ – Lighthorne Village Celebration
One of the things I love most about being a Warwickshire wedding DJ is that no two weddings are ever quite the same.
This recent marquee wedding in the beautiful village of Lighthorne, Warwickshire, perfectly captured everything that makes a countryside wedding so special. Surrounded by family and friends, the couple created a relaxed atmosphere during the day before transforming the marquee into a packed dancefloor for the evening celebrations.
As the sun set and the evening guests arrived, it was time to shift the energy up a gear.
A Dancefloor Full of 80s Classics and Modern Remixes
The brief for the evening was simple – plenty of feel-good music that would appeal to guests of all ages.
The soundtrack featured a healthy mix of 80s favourites, singalong classics and some carefully selected modern edits and remixes that brought familiar songs up to date while still keeping the nostalgia factor firmly intact.
This is often one of my favourite approaches at weddings. A great remix can introduce younger guests to a classic track while giving older guests something instantly recognisable to sing along to.
The result was exactly what every couple hopes for – a busy dancefloor packed with smiling faces throughout the night.
